Pet Memories

We're here to help you remember your pet

Star Hambling

Star has been my best friend since she came to live with me on 24/12/15. She had a playful but sweet and cuddly nature and she was loved very much. I sadly lost her to cancer on 24/01/19. It was the right choice to put her to sleep but the house is not the same without her. Thank you to Marcus Harrington and colleagues for all of the effort that you made to look after Star and for the support that you have given me.

Junior

On Saturday 22nd September it was a very sad day for all the family. After 12 years we had to say goodbye to Junior (Junes). He was my best friend, faithful companion and protector. He was such a character and will be greatly missed by us all. Love you Junes Xx

Thank you to Marcus and all the staff who cared for him x

Nipper Read

Nipper May 2000 to 20th July 2018

Nipper has been a big part of our life for best part of 18 years, since we found him in a rescue centre in the latter part of the year 2000 and his passing has left an enormous hole.

His big heart and a massive personality meant life was an adventure. We went wild camping, walked the Fells and have been up Snowdon and Ben Nevis together. He even won a rosette for coming fourth in a posh dog show in Dorset but we can't remember what for!

Anyone who ever met him will have a ''Nipper'' story to tell.

Thanks to everybody at ''The Ark'' for looking after, and putting up, with him all his life. He wouldn't have been around so long without your expertise.

Bryer

We said goodbye to Bryer on the 18th August 2018. My wife and I were in tears for the whole weekend. We will miss the sound of her tail thumping on the ground whenever she saw us looking at her and the big slobbery hugs she would give whether we wanted them or not. Thank you for your kindness, the vet was wonderful, thank you.

Honey Sharp

Very sad day Saturday 26th May 2018 when we had to say goodbye to our beloved Honey after 13 and a half years of love and devotion. A wonderful companion who loved being with people, she loved being cuddled by the grandchildren and never showed any displeasure even when she was nearly having her ears pulled off. We will all miss her.

Many thanks to Julie and all the staff at Ark for their help and compassion.

Troy Beesley

We had to say goodbye to our lovely boy on Wednesday 4 April.

He always lived life to the full. Always happy and always pleased to see people.

I hope Troy you are in a happy hunting ground where you can chase bunny rabbits forever more.

We would like to thank the team at Ark who were so supportive of my husband at the end.
