I qualified from Cambridge University in 1999 and initially worked for a charity in Cyprus. On returning to the UK I spent 11 years on the Wirral where I further developed my skills and found I had a particular interest in surgery.
In 2011 family reasons brought me to Essex and I first did locum work for Ark in 2013.
When the opportunity arose for a new challenge as Clinical Director at Ark I couldn't resist. The practice has a wonderful caring and supportive team who are a pleasure to work with. Our aim is to provide the best care possible for all the lovely pets we see but also to support owners in all situations.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with family and friends and I have a very demanding cat called Dotty.
